As Saudi Arabia prepares for its participation in the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, the Kingdom is marking a defining cultural moment beyond the slopes. Team Saudi has been selected to take part in the prestigious National Olympic Committees (NOC) Fashion Show, an official event within the Winter Olympics’ cultural programme that celebrates national identity through fashion.

Scheduled for 4 February, the NOC Fashion Show offers a global stage where sport, design and heritage converge, spotlighting each nation’s Olympic uniform through a contemporary fashion lens. This year, Saudi Arabia stands out as the only Arab country participating in the showcase.

Team Saudi will be represented by athlete Rakan Ali Rida, wearing a look designed by Saudi designer Alya AlSalmi. Rooted in Saudi heritage and reimagined with a modern sensibility, the ensemble highlights craftsmanship, cultural continuity and a refined aesthetic—signalling the Kingdom’s growing presence within the international Olympic movement, particularly in winter sports.
