Inside the Reopening of Josette, Where Vogue Arabia Celebrated its First Watches & Jewellery Special Issue

To celebrate the reopening of Josette and the launch of Vogue Arabia’s first-ever Watches & Jewellery special issue, we gathered friends of the brand, creatives, and cultural tastemakers for an intimate evening at Dubai’s most theatrical dining destination. Set against the restaurant’s freshly unveiled “Season in Bloom” chapter, the night brought together the city’s style set for a celebration of elegance, craftsmanship, and the return of one of DIFC’s most beloved addresses.
The soirée unfolded across Josette’s newly extended terrace and reimagined dining room, where guests were welcomed into the venue’s renewed Parisian-garden spirit. Aside from a DJ, a special performance by a musical group took place which saw guests dancing and singing along.
Notable attendees included Pia Wurtzbach, Nafsika Panagiotakopoulou, Mohanad Al Hattab, Dima Ayad, Zaid Farouki, Ghizlan Guenez, Layla Kardan, Nadya Hasan, and Ali and Walaa Hennaoui, who joined Vogue Arabia editors including Head of Editorial Content Manuel Arnaut in raising a glass to the milestone Watches & Jewellery issue. As dishes by Chef Burcu Cracknell and Chef Rory Duncan made their way around the room, the night became a natural meeting point for fashion, culture, and culinary artistry.
From the first taste of Josette’s botanical-forward cocktails to the final toast, the evening captured everything this new season represents: renewal, creativity, and a city that continues to evolve its definition of luxury.
